Are you trans and considering growing a baby? Are you a perinatal wellness provider seeking accurate and useful information? Join the conversation!

This collaborative panel is co-sponsored by the LGBTQ Perinatal Wellness Center, Family Equality Council, Trans Women of Color Collective, and will be moderated by FEC’s Director of Family Formation (and trans gestational parent), Trystan Reese. Other panelists include the LGBTQ Perinatal Wellness Center’s acupuncturist, Autumn Ross, LAc, TWOCC’s Samantha Jo-Dato, Masculine Birth Rituals podcast creator, Grover Wehman-Brown, the Reproductive Science Center’s Sara Pittenger Reid, M.D among other trans family wellness advocates.

Trystan Reese sprang into the public consciousness in 2017 when he and his family told their trans family-building story in the mainstream media. He is proud to have expanded the public conversation about trans reproductive justice, LGBTQ+ families, and what it means to be a father. He regularly trains birthworkers on the details of trans and nonbinary pregnancy and postpartum support, and provides one-on-one assistance to trans gestational parents across the globe. He is also the Director of Family Formation at Family Equality Council, a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ families and those who wish to form them.
